Know Trains between Stations for Easy and Tension-Free Travel

In India, there are busy railway stations that are always full of passengers and buzzing with activities as well as railway stations that have hardly any passengers. Every state in India has some important stations where most of the major trains running on that route have a halt. The timings of different trains arriving and departing from a station also vary. Some start early in the morning while others start late at night.

By entering the source and destination stations on the website of Indian Railways or IRCTC, you are offered the facility to check the trains between stations. You will get a list of all the trains running between the two stations specified by you, their arrival and departure time at each station, availability of seats and fares of tickets in each class.

This allows you to pick the train of your preference, check seat availability and book your ticket after checking the prices of tickets in each class. If all the seats are already filled up, you still have the option to book tickets in that train in RAC or waiting list. In that case you have to check the PNR status of your ticket regularly to see if your ticket is confirmed or not.

It is important to know trains between stations whenever you book tickets in trains, so that you can select the right train for your travel and have a tension-free journey. It is a must if you are traveling, especially with kids and elderly people.
